About NHS-funded braces

Your dentist will refer you to our practice if they think you might be eligible for NHS-funded braces. Our specialists will then assess your eligibility based on your Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN), rated from 1–5. If you score one or two, you won’t be eligible for NHS treatment. A grade of three means you may be eligible. If you score a four or five, you can receive NHS-funded orthodontic treatment.

Don’t worry if you aren’t eligible for NHS orthodontic treatment; our specialist orthodontists can talk to you about private treatment options.
